Director/ VP Product Development
eRealInvestor is shaking up the real estate market in a novel way. The company has developed the industry's first dynamic, real-time, web-based analytics solution. The patent-pending eRealAnalyzer has been dubbed a "killer application" by industry leaders around the country, and the application is being adopted rapidly. The opportunity is huge, as analysis for real estate becomes much more important in a volatile market.
eRealInvestor is seeking a top-notch Director of Product Development who is experienced with building web products. This can be a senior-level role for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Be an execution focused leader driving new feature development, integration efforts, enhancements and efficiencies across the platform
- Conceive product / feature ideas and develop business cases for new products / features
- Manage product development resources to budget, feature, and time deliverable objectives, in close communication with CEO
- Develop sufficient functional specifications for developers and designersManage testing and iterative improvement process
- Analyze web analytics to come up with ways to optimize performance
- Identify new market and monetization opportunities for our products
- Hire and manage internal and external staff
Experience
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years of online product management and internet software building experience
- Ideally has worked with brand name web presence

- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, especially in assessing marketing performance

Education
- Bachelors degree
- CS/engineering degree preferred
- Elite school preferred

The opportunity is huge, as analysis for real estate becomes much more important in a volatile market.
We're looking for a quantitative minded technical leader to help take a successful startup with a ton of momentum to the next level.
The right candidate should be very well-rounded possessing strong technical abilities, graphic skills, and a passion for innovation. The candidate will work on a small team with broad responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing a highly scalable web application
- Creating and implementing web site designs in clean, well-structured html and css
- Developing dynamic browser behaviors using Flash and JavaScript
- Extending database support for use by the web application and partner data integration
- Web server system administration
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of direct experience in web application development
- 2+ years of Java development experience (ColdFusion experience is a major plus)
- 2+ years of database development experience
- High familiarity with structured html / JavaScript / CSS (web design standards)
- Flash experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of real estate investment is a plus
- Effective communication skills both technically and business-wise
- Understanding of how to test and monitor web services at machine and application levels.
- Creation of an innovative personalization, community or website feature.
- Must be able to handle the demands of a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must possess a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
